Project Scope:
Mechanical Stripping and Installation of all associated equipment, piping and structural steel situated on Upper Tween Deck, Lower Tween Deck and Tank Top onboard the vessel, mv. “Debmar Atlantic” while docked in Sturrock Drydock for an upgrade.
Project Description
Following works carried out on all three decks:-
Mechanical Work:
Stripping and rigging ashore of all associated pipes and steel structures, equipment, pumps, machinery, transformers, mixers, bins, etc.
Rigging onboard and installation of De Beers Marine supplied numerous new equipment, bins, mixers, pumps, transformers, machinery, etc.
This includes fabrication and installation of 11 x NB600 Sea Chest Strainers.
Steelwork:
Cropping and removal of all redundant structural steel.
Manufactured and installed new deck inserts, bulkheads, columns, underdeck stiffeners, deck inserts, equipment/machinery bases, platforms, stairs, etc.
Tonnage: 110t ABS Grade A Plates/350WA sections.
Pipework:
Disconnecting and removal of all redundant pipeworks.
Fabricated and installed new pipes and fittings from NB25 to NB600 using schedule #40 and #80 grade API 5L
Pipes, ±600m with ±1500 fittings
